Ranthambore National Park is also known as Ranthambore rashtriya uddyan, located at sawai madhopur district, Rajasthan earned the title of national park in 1980. It is the most popular and largest national park or tiger reserve in northern India till date. It was included in the project tiger reserves in 1973. It has been positioned in between the junction of Aravalli and Vindhya hill range. It has two rivers with each side, Banas River on the north and Chambal River on the south.
